happy fathers day!

to me and the rest of you fathers out there... today has been a great day. the kiddies let me sleep in with out their normal screaming and fighting at 6:30am. the kids made pancakes and eggs and then i opened my gifts. from vicky a fabulous card about how awesome i am :) from cameron an awesome clay picture, from joey about 37 cards he made all by himself and from heather a digital frame that allows me to put in a memory card of all my pictures and a wobble clock. very very cool.

we then all got ready and headed to knotts berry farm. surprisingly it wasn't that crowded. heather, vicky and cameron were able to walk onto montezuma's revenge after that vicky and cameron rode jaguar, twice. joey unfortunetly is about 3/4th of an inch to short. next time. while the kids were on jaguar we took joey to camp snoopy where he rode the camp bus and the tug boat. then heather took him into snoopy's house. we then met up with the kids again and went on the log ride. i can't believe after all these years the same loggers are still chopping the same piece of wood. damn they are slow but oh so close. the best ride was big foot rapids, there was hardly a line at all and we all got SOAKED which was very much needed seeing as it was about 85 degrees outside.

we are all home now, heather and i relaxing watching national treasure. the kids are playing club penguin on their computers. after the movie, while heather plays sims i think i might get addicted to second life yay! :)

all in all its been a very good weekend, very relaxing. next week heather and i will be going to the electric daisy carnival in san bernardino to see some of my favorite djs: ferry corsten, gabriel and dresden, etc. should be lots of fun.

if you have 20k + friends on your myspace page you can apparently sell your account to spammers. great, i guess it was only a matter of time... must.find.more.friends

Spammer: I'll buy MySpace profiles with more than 20k contacts

things a man should know about fatherhood

in honour of fathers day :)

36 things a man should know about fatherhood some of my favorites:

16. Reason boys are better: They cannot get pregnant.

17. Reason girls are better: They're less likely to get arrested.

19. Annals of great punishments: Hang dolly from a noose!
That was a joke, Dad, a joke.
Annals of great punishments, for real: making him wash the car, clean the bathroom, and watch The McLaughlin Group.
You see, all great punishments should reduce the number of disagreeable tasks you would otherwise have to perform.

29. It never hurts to videotape the baby-sitter.
Especially if she's hot.

here's the full list

Things In Life That Suck

1) Having your whole lower jaw/cheek stretched and puffy and itchy for a week+ 2) Having it like that because you have an abscess 3)Being disoriented, fatigued and nauseous that whole time 4) Missing work and money 5) Having someone call 100 times and leave nasty messages asking why you don't answer the phone when you are trying to rest and get over a raging infection. 6) Having the person you are trying to talk to for 90 fucking seconds be unable to pay attention to you for that 90 second period because really, NINETY WHOLE SECONDS? OUT OF THE DAY??? 7) Having someone who isn't home make decisions regarding friends coming over when you are home and going through numbersw 1-6 What doesn't suck: VICODIN.

Happy Birthday Vicky!!

So I guess it's been awhile. Today is Vicky's 12th birthday, and I cannot beleive how time has flown. I guess I'm finally understanding what all those "old folk" from my youth always said, "Each year goes by quicker". TWELVE. Next month she will be entering Jr. High. Just yesterday she was my baby. In addition to this huge landmark, we have added some new members to our family. Sandy, our brand new two month old Golden Retriever who is cuter then God should allow. Chris brought her home as a surprise. (I have the awesomest hubby!) Shelby, a tortoise that Vicky got as a gift from cousin Mary; and Apple, a white tree frog, who is actually green, that Vic got from my sister Johanna. (Pics coming). So adding those to Iggy, our Iguana, and Spike and Puffy, our bearded dragons, we have the beginnings of a wonderful zoo. I do so hope that these are the days that bring fond memories later. Happy 12th Vicky. We love you. (Enough to let the house become overrun with animals) ;)
