Home at last

Well I am finally back home. I had a lot of fun but I missed my family like crazy, and it's very hard to sleep at night without my husband beside me. Got out to Vegas Saturday early afternoon, and my mom was there already waiting. We went to the Excalibur where I was staying and checked in and then over to the Rio to pick up our show tickets. Went all over the place looking for a half-decent restaurant, which proved impossible. Apparently there is no good eating before 4 pm. We went to a buffet, of course. Saturday night we went to dinner with my grandmother (again, buffet)and then to see the Chippendale's show, which was highly entertaining, even if some of them were gay. WE had a lot of fun, in spite of the little old lady next to us asking if we thought these boys came from good homes and did we think their mothers knew what they did and would they approve. WTF? STFU already and let me watch the naked guys in peace! Anyways, after the show we stayed for Club Rio. I got a VIP table and we danced and went back to the room about 4 am. Got up at 12, went to lunch, (guess where? BUFFET!) then walked around the shops, saw a live action movie dealy thingie, and then gambled some, won none, quit and went back to the room. Sun night we went to dinner and show Tournament of the Kings, also very entertaining, raucous, we had a good time. After the show we were accosted by very drunk Brittish armed forced guys whom I couldn't understand but every 3rd word. Somehow we extricated ourselves from them and went up to the room where mom went home and I went to bed. Not sleep, just bed. Watched Deperate Housewives, my new favorite show, and waited with much anticipation for morning and seeing Chris. So now I am home, and going to the school to work at the book fair. Joy.
