The boys and I went out to Palm Desertt this weekend with Molly while Chris was in Vegas, and we had an awesome time, my mother in law went all out. Friday night we watched
13 going on 30 which was very cute, and BBQ'd steaks for dinner. Saturday morning we got up early and headed out in the 110 degree heat to
The Living Desert Zoo, where we saw some very cool animals very close up. We saw the cheetah, Samba, in the verterinary clinic when we took the tour, with Henry, the Golden lab he was raised with. We all had a very good time, I highly reccomend visiting here if you are ever in the Palm Springs area. After the zoo we went to lunch at my favorite place,
Tony Roma's, then we headed to the
Children's Discovery Center where the boys got to do a rope maze (so cool) paint a volkswagon, dress up. play store, and more. They had a very good time here, and it was fun to watch them get excited. We headed over to the Marriott to try to get a gondola ride, but they weren't running yet, so we went back to the house and went swimming. Molly and Joe fell asleep at 6:30, Cameron went to bed around 7:30 after getting in trouble for stealing the keys to the golf cart and trying to make it out. The next morning we woke up and got ready and headed out to
Knott's Soak City PS, where it was 122 degrees. All I have to say is ouch, our feet hurt, but we had an absolute blast. This was a first for the boys, and we thouroughly enjoyed it. Meanwhile, Vicky spent the weekend with her friend Meghan, and went to Soak City Orange County, and she had a blast as well. We're all home now, and I am so glad, I missed my husband and daughter. Oh ya, my hubby won in vegas, lucky guy!
