as cool as vista is, its just not quite ready for mainstream use. i have been using vista since it came out but their are just way to many things that don't work the way they should so i am switching back to xp. the biggest reason is copying a file from my computer to my server is slower then a dialup connection where on xp its instantaneous.

to copy a file that is 100mb vista calculates the time it will take and then shows me the speed which is usually 150kbps. 150kbps!!! i have a t-3 connection and its faster for me to upload a file to youtube then it is to upload a file to my server. how much sense does that make?

supposedly their is a hot fix, which i got. it obviously doesn't solve the problem. when you do a search in google a lot of people are experiencing the same problem but nobody has a solution. people say do this or that but none of it seems to work. so until microsoft can fix this, i will stay with my stable xp.
